About Us

In 2013, when we were first looking at the farm deciding if we wanted to buy it, Allyson had visions of starting a dog boarding facility. Allyson now has horses, llamas, goats, multiple dogs and cats, yet she still wanted to start a dog boarding business. We’ve let her start slow by watching an occasional dog in our home and going to other peoples homes to watch dogs and cats. She is ready to take the next step in her venture and start Ally’s Dog Place. Ally’s Dog Place is a branch of our family farm business, Simpson Acres. Ally’s Dog Place provides overnight dog boarding and daycare. In August 2018, we converted a rental home, on our farm property, into a dog boarding facility. The dogs have a living room area to play, and bedrooms to sleep in. At Ally’s Dog Place, your dog will have plenty of room to run, or if it chooses he/she can lay on the couch all day. Any exercise your dog may need will be taken care of. We have a large fenced-in area for your dogs to run and play.

Our Facility

The Dog House

A former rental house converted to a dog house. The dog house currently houses our small and senior dogs. When the dogs need a place to play, there is a large fenced in play area of the dogs to potty and get some fresh air.

The Dog Barn

Where our more active dogs hang out. Traditional kennels are on one side of the barn, and an indoor play area is on the other side of the barn. There are large fenced in outdoor areas for the dogs to play and run around in.

The Cattery

We watch cats too! We have space to watch cats from only two different families at a time. The cats have clean litter boxes and lots of climbing space. If the cats are friendly, they'll receive cuddle time with our cat attendant too. No worries, the dogs do not have access to the cats!
